This listing is for a Case for Tibetan Buddhist Bell and Dorje(not included) as shown in the picture and bell case holds a 6 inches tall bell and dorje case holds a 4 inches big dorje. The cases are made from silk and cotton fabric and hand made in Kathmandu Nepal. The hollow of the bell symbolizes the wisdom cognizing emptiness. The clapper represents the sound of emptiness. The eight lotus petals are the four mothers and four goddesses and the vase represents the vase containing the nectar of accomplishment. Paired with the Dorje the bell represents wisdom, and as wisdom and method are an undivided unity so the Dorje and bell are never parted or employed separately. The Dorje,The thunderbold or diamond the destroys all kinds of ignorance and itself is indestructible. The Vajra is symbolises the male principle which represents method(compassion) and held in the right hand and the bell symbolises the female principle and represents the wisdom(the emptines) and held in the left hand. Their interaction leads to the enlightenment. Also the Dorje or Vajra represents the Upaya or method and Tibetans name Vajra as “Dorje.
